Dr. Anjali Pandit

Dr. Anjali Pandit is a clinical health psychologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine with Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.  She is the co-director of the Behavioral Medicine Program within the Digestive Health Institute at Northwestern Medicine.  She serves primarily in a clinical role and is focused on providing psychological care to patients with GI disease and symptoms.  She has long been interested in the intersection and overlap of mental and physical health and the ways in which psychological and behavioral intervention can improve physical health and well-being. Dr. Pandit has co-authored a number of articles with SAIA focused on the role of mental health and cultural factors in IBD and gastroenterology.   In her free time, Anjali enjoys spending time outside with her family when the weather allows in Chicago.
