Collaborate with SAIA
SAIA’s research efforts focus primarily on non-invasive and methodologically feasible studies that are aligned with SAIA’s mission. Please review SAIA’s Research Policy here before submitting a request to collaborate on research projects.
All proposals must be submitted via the SAIA online proposal form located here. Proposals submitted via email will not be reviewed. We request that all individuals submitting a proposal become a SAIA Member first. The membership platform can be accessed here.
Please kindly take note of the following:
- SAIA reviews research submissions only during designated intake periods, currently planned for twice per year in June and November. Requests submitted outside these windows will be reviewed at the next opportunity when the portal re-opens.
- SAIA places a high priority on patient trust and engagement. All patient-facing surveys are reviewed for appropriateness of language and literacy level, cultural relevance and population specificity. To minimize survey fatigue, SAIA generally limits patient surveys distributed through its platforms to no more than one per quarter.
- SAIA requests that you provide clear and appropriate acknowledgement of our support for the study including but not limited to authorship to SAIA team members where appropriate, acknowledgement of SAIA’s support in distribution of surveys and other material, financial support for SAIA’s time and expertise in recruitment. The nature of acknowledgement can be discussed and mutually agreed upon with SAIA’s Chief Research Officer and CEO.
